We are looking for an Administrative Officer (Intern/Volunteer) who will be responsible for providing for the administrative needs of the Foundation.

Required

written communication skills

administrative skills

prioritize tasks, work calmly under pressure and work independently
● Capacity to work with
various online platforms (Google Platforms, Microsoft Office, and others)
● Excellent
organizational skills with the ability to coordinate activities
● Experience
in a supervision/management position is a plus

About Centre for African Justice, Peace and Human Rights
How best can people know their rights or claim same except through awareness, education and training. How best can people learn to maintain peace? How best can justice be promoted and applied? To an extent the answers to these questions revolve around information, education, campaign, capacity building, training and awareness. At Centre for African Justice, our objective is to promote justice, peace and human rights through information, education, advocacy, awareness, empowerment, training, outreach and capacity building in Africa and around the world. The objective of our project on sexual violence perpetrated against the male gender is to push for improved recognition and legal protection of male victims of sexual violence in Africa and around the world. We hope to create a community of male victims of sexual violence with the aim of empowering them (physically, economically, academically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically). We believe that in the near future, such victims can serve as tools to break the silence surrounding sexual violence perpetrated against men and boys in the world.

1) Prosecuting sexual violence perpetrated against the male gender (In conflict - and peace situations)
2) Legal research with possibility of field work
3) Capacity building of prosecutors, lawyers and judges in Africa
