About Dokters van de Wereld

Everyone should be able to see a doctor. This is also arranged in the Netherlands – for people with and people without valid residence papers. Only: not everyone knows that. For example, people without valid residence papers often have no idea where and who to turn to. Doctors of the World is committed to them. Not only in the Netherlands, but also in the rest of the world, we provide medical assistance to underprivileged people. In more than eighty countries, we help those who have little or no access to medical care. Healthcare is not a privilege, but a human right. Our mission is to ensure that this right is observed.
