About Evangelisch-Lutherse Gemeente “s-Gravenhage

The Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of The Hague wants to be a permanent Lutheran core in The Hague and surroundings. The Lutheran municipality of The Hague has two important functions:
• The church as home base: based on its Lutheran identity, it wants to be a unifying place of gathering, on Sunday mornings and at other times of the week, it gives people a safe place to come to their senses and nourishes them for their task in the world ;
• The church as a base: based on its Lutheran identity, it has an eye for people inside and outside its congregation and, based on its Lutheran identity, it wants to be an open place for the city of The Hague.
• There is an interaction between the congregation and the outside world: the church is known as a religious center in the city where people can go and from where they can re-enter the world.
