Female Ventures (Team Delft/The Hague) is looking for a new proactive and enthusiastic MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS volunteer!
WHAT IS FEMALE VENTURES?
Female Ventures is a non-profit foundation dedicated to empowering women in their professional journeys. We provide knowledge, inspiration, and networking opportunities through a blend of diverse events, an engaging online and offline community, and a professional mentorship program. Since our establishment in 2016, we’ve grown to over 1,400 members across five cities in The Netherlands, driven entirely by the dedication of 40+ passionate volunteers who share a commitment to female empowerment and Diversity & Inclusion.
How do we achieve this? We organize (online) events such as workshops, lectures, and other kinds of events, to inspire women and help them build their network. During these events, women share their own stories and experiences under the pleasure of drinks and networking.
By uniting ambitious women and giving them visibility, we offer them a safe and inspiring environment to flourish, build a network and gain opportunities to venture.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As our Marketing Manager, you will be the creative engine behind our communications. You’ll help shape our local presence, promote our events, and amplify the voices of women in our network. Expect a balance of content creation, campaign planning, and hands-on collaboration with our local and national teams.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and our monthly newsletter
- Coordinate event promotion and recap posts (e.g., for Networking Drinks and workshops)
- Manage our LinkedIn Showcase Page and ensure alignment with national branding
- Collaborate with the blog team on the “Your Venture” series — from interviews to publication and promotion
- Use tools like Canva, Eventbrite, WordPress, and TeamUp Calendar to stay organized and consistent
- Be the marketing point of contact for our community managers and our National Marketing Director
What We’re Looking For
We value proactive, hands-on volunteers who bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and a sense of ownership. Ideally, you:
- Have experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, social media, or design
- Are confident writing copy and structuring content in English
- Are comfortable using tools like Canva, Google Docs, WordPress etc.
- Love being part of a mission-driven team and want to make a real difference
- Can commit to a consistent weekly contribution and coordinate with other volunteers

As a volunteer team of enthusiasts in different professions and sectors, with a diverse background in terms of nationality and age, we are looking to expand our team! Although this is a volunteer position and there’s no financial compensation, the reward will be great!
