About Iedereen een Meester

"It takes a village to raise a child" is an African proverb that means that an entire community is needed to grow and develop the child in a safe and healthy environment. “Everyone a master” is the Dutch translation of this.

Everyone is a master: The Netherlands has many people with a great diversity of knowledge, talents and qualities. What would it be like if we did not just leave education to hard-working teachers, but rather use the knowledge and energy present in society to help these teachers and apply it to the needs of the schools? Energy of local residents, grandfathers and grandmothers and professionals living and / or working in The Hague? Then there is a master for everyone. The pressure on the teachers is decreasing, the attention for students is increasing and we work together to create a learning and living environment where our children can become masters again and so that our society can develop in a positive way.
Together we are committed to helping the schools and ensuring that the children receive the knowledge, inspiration and support they need to develop properly. We do this by offering the knowledge and expertise free of charge to our schools with support that matches the wishes and needs of the school.
