On Mondays, you help with grocery shopping, cooking, serving, and cleaning up for the communal meal for the elderly.
On Mondays, from 09:30 to 13:30, you assist with the preparation and execution of the communal meal for the elderly. This involves working together with support staff, volunteers, and other participants. The elderly arrive around 12:00, after which a meal is served that usually consists of a three-course menu.
Activities:
- Shop independently with a Simple Card or do the shopping together with a colleague.
- Assisting with kitchen duties, such as preparing ingredients, cooking, and setting the tables.
- Assisting with welcoming the elderly and serving the meal.
- Cleaning up afterwards, including clearing the tables, loading the dishwasher, and working with the volunteer responsible for the washing up.
In addition, the menu for the coming week is regularly discussed with the participants, so that they can contribute ideas and have a say in the meals that are prepared.
