Connecting guests together at the dining table at Resto VanHarte!

Resto VanHarte organizes delicious and affordable three-course dinners for local residents every Thursday at Community Center de Kronkel. Everyone is welcome to eat together and get to know each other better.

The driving force behind Resto VanHarte is the volunteers in the kitchen and as hosts. As a volunteer, it is a fun and meaningful way to get to know your neighborhood, gain skills, and enjoy a meal together.

You can sign up as a kitchen volunteer or as a host/hostess. The times mentioned are a guideline; adjustments are possible in consultation.

Kitchen volunteer: (14:00/15:00 - 20:00)

Under the supervision of the Location Coordinator, you and the kitchen team are responsible for the preparation and cooking of dinner. A healthy and fresh three-course dinner is prepared every week. Additionally, you assist with serving the food, tidying up, and cleaning.

Host/Hostess: (15:30 - 20:00)

You are responsible for setting tables and decorating the Resto. Additionally, you handle serving meals and ensuring the warm Resto atmosphere. You are often the first person our guests see when they enter. Besides welcoming guests, you create a pleasant Resto evening by engaging them and connecting them with one another.
