Summary

We are looking for dynamic and engaging volunteers to serve as Anchors and Q&A Hosts during the festival.

Detailed description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently introduce films at the beginning of each block, setting the tone for the audience.
  • Conduct Q&A sessions with directors and filmmakers after screenings in an engaging, professional, and lively manner.
  • Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) during the awards ceremony, ensuring smooth flow of the event.
  • Keep the audience engaged with wit, humor, and spontaneity while maintaining professionalism.
  • Coordinate with the festival team to ensure timing, cues, and stage activities run seamlessly.

Qualifications:

  • Strong public speaking skills with excellent command of English (other languages a plus).
  • Charismatic, witty, and able to adapt quickly in live situations.
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse filmmakers, guests, and audiences.
  • Prior experience in anchoring, emceeing, or stage hosting is preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Reliable, confident, and enthusiastic about films and cultural exchange.
