Summary
We are looking for dynamic and engaging volunteers to serve as Anchors and Q&A Hosts during the festival.Detailed description
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently introduce films at the beginning of each block, setting the tone for the audience.
- Conduct Q&A sessions with directors and filmmakers after screenings in an engaging, professional, and lively manner.
- Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) during the awards ceremony, ensuring smooth flow of the event.
- Keep the audience engaged with wit, humor, and spontaneity while maintaining professionalism.
- Coordinate with the festival team to ensure timing, cues, and stage activities run seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking skills with excellent command of English (other languages a plus).
- Charismatic, witty, and able to adapt quickly in live situations.
- Comfortable interacting with diverse filmmakers, guests, and audiences.
- Prior experience in anchoring, emceeing, or stage hosting is preferred (but not mandatory).
- Reliable, confident, and enthusiastic about films and cultural exchange.
