Technical Support for Screening and Presentation

Join our team as a Technical Support Volunteer and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our festival screenings and events. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute behind the scenes and be part of a vibrant cultural celebration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download, organise, and upload video files on festival computers.
  • Assist and supervise the projectionist in the projection room during film screenings.
  • Prepare and manage PowerPoint presentations for the awards ceremony.
  • Provide basic IT and AV troubleshooting support (file formats, sound, display).
  • Coordinate with the festival team to ensure technical readiness and smooth execution of events.

Qualifications:

  • Well-versed in operating both Apple (MacOS) and PC (Windows) laptops.
  • Comfortable handling video files, presentations, and basic technical troubleshooting.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work calmly under time pressure.
  • Prior experience in event or technical support is a plus (but not mandatory).
