Are you a skilled website developer eager to make a tangible impact? Join Mebyf Foundation as a volunteer and help us enhance our online presence.


Mebyf Foundation is seeking a talented and passionate Volunteer Website Developer to help us enhance our online presence and effectively communicate our mission to a wider audience. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise to gain valuable experience and become an integral part of our team. You'll play a crucial role in bringing our digital vision to life, ensuring our website is informative, engaging, and accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications;
  • Integrate data from various sources (e.g., event registrations);
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise our website for speed and mobile responsiveness;
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues as they arise;
  • Collaborate with our team members, including content creators and project coordinators, to define and implement new website features and updates;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and best practices to suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of our digital infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in web development or a portfolio showcasing your web projects.
  • Proficiency in core web technologies;
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design principles;
  • Experience with database systems;
  • Understanding of web security principles and best practices;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly;
  • Ability to commit to 8-10 hours/week.
