Summary
Become our Program Manager for students joining from the International High Schools and universities that have Leadership Programs requiring volunteer work.
Detailed description
Do you love education? Believe in the value of students in an organisation? Love to help students become leaders? And can administer schedules and tasks? Then this is the role for you!
For the past 5 years, Wool for Warmth has attracted students from schools and universities that have volunteer requirements in their Leadership Courses.
We have students from:
The Hague University of Applied Sciences
The University of Leiden
The International high schools in The Hague and Delft
Your tasks will include coordination with the school's program leaders regarding student progress. This involves learning about the goals of the program and making suggestions on how WfW can help the students achieve these goals. You will be responsible for signing off on student hours and ensuring that they are on track. Also, generally managing attendance, adherence to rules, mentoring, and support.
We would like to expand this program and increase the number of students and schools that join us every year.
Resume, references, and a detailed interview required for this position.

About Stichting Wool for Warmth Student Team
Wool for Warmth's core philosophy is that everyone must be happy. Our fabulous volunteers organise, sort, and distribute mountains of donated wool to be to knitted and crocheted into thousands of handmade hats, scarves, socks, blankets (and more!) to homeless shelters in The Netherlands. We support ourselves by running a second-hand store. This creates opportunities for people who love sorting, selling, managing, and negotiating. We have a place for everyone who loves the circular economy, wool, or stuff!
