Musicon

About Musicon

Musicon was born in the 1990s from the demand for practice spaces, pop music lessons and a music venue. The founders are two friends: Cesar Zuiderwijk, drummer of Golden Earring, and Alejandro Milberg, Argentinian documentary maker and dissident who came to the Netherlands as a refugee. Musicon has since conquered its own place in The Hague's cultural field. Started as an 'empty cup' filled by different music cultures from the city, we are today a socially driven company, with diversity in the genes and a great love for the stage.

Musicon is the inclusive all-round pop music center of The Hague: With us you will find practice rooms, a music school, workshop & course rooms, party rooms and an attractive music café. Musicon is sacred music ground in The Hague, with more than 400 bands on stage every year and more than 15,000 concert visitors. We actively contribute to the cultural education and talent development of our city with award-winning programs for young and old. The (pursuit of) musical craftsmanship is a common thread through all programs, from education to festivals. Musicon is the place where young talent, debuting top talent and icons come together.
