Scan me or visit www.volunteerthehague.nl/o/NL-Cares3/opportunities/Helping-out-in-Pluks-vegetable-garden-The-Hague/63514 to join
SummaryEvery Friday at Pluk! The Hague worked in the vegetable garden. Together they maintain this garden with their participants who come for daytime activities.
They usually work with 4 people, but Pluk! can always use more hands.
The work will depend on what is needed at the time and moves with the seasons. You may be sowing, planting and harvesting vegetables. But the work also consists largely of taking care of the plants and weeding the garden.
Target group and impact
pick! The Hague is a collaboration between CV Pluk Den Haag and Reakt. Together they help people with psychological problems or an addiction background on their way in their daily lives. Together they work in the gardens, lunchroom, the animals and the shop.
Opposite garden center Ockenburg in Loosduinen is Pluk! The Hague, on the edge of the beautiful green Madestein. Hidden in the green behind a row of houses.
