About SailWise

From wanderings over the IJsselmeer and the mudflats with the two-masted clipper Lutgerdina to sailing on the Frisian lakes from our water sports center It Sailhûs and practicing small water sports on the private island of Robinson Crusoe. At SailWise, boundaries are being pushed and challenges are taken on!

We are based on the philosophy that water sports and active holidays on the water are an ideal means of contributing to the independence and independence of people with a disability or limitation. At SailWise, our guests discover what they can do. Self-development, pushing boundaries and self-direction are the key words here. Our water sports help people with a disability out of social isolation and it promotes integration. As a result, people with a disability or limitation feel less inhibited physically and mentally, they can get more out of daily life and lead their lives in a more independent way.

Promoting social well-being, physical and mental independence and the integration of people with disabilities or limitations by means of (offering) facilities in the field of water sports; and promoting the participation of people with disabilities in water sports activities.
