About Stichting Sakya Thegchen Ling

Tibetan Buddhist Center, (house number 200 A):

The purpose of the center can be deduced from the meaning of the name.
Sakya is the name of the order; Thegchen means mahayana, the great vehicle of bodhisattvas; Ling means place. Officially, the objective is described as promoting the interest in and the study of Mahayana Buddhism through the study, practice and propagation of it as well as preserving and perpetuating Tibetan culture. The center achieves this by providing teachings, courses, study evenings, information and education and by translating original Tibetan Buddhist texts.
