We believe in equal opportunities for every child, that every child has the right to a successful school career, regardless of the situation in which the child finds itself. Mentors visit students at home, in their own environment, for an average of 1 to 1.5 hours every week, for a period of 1 to 1.5 years. The months just before and just after the 'big crossing' are taken into account, so that the mentors can see whether the student lands correctly. The aim is that the students can continue independently after this period. We provide tailor-made solutions, one mentorship lasts a little longer, the other a little shorter. The focus of the guidance by the mentors is on learning the skills that the child needs to successfully complete the school career (learning to learn, learning to plan), and being there for the child, so that he or she is seen and has a safe place. to ask any questions he/she has.
