About Stichting Boerendorp (project van Groene Matties)

Join a green initiative with heart; Boerendorp (part of Groene Matties), a vegetable garden for the food bank.

Hidden in the Zuiderpark lies Boerendorp, a beautiful vegetable garden with a social and educational character. In this garden we grow organic vegetables such as pumpkins, tomatoes, snow peas and many more delicious things together with local residents. Weekly harvesting takes place from the end of April to the beginning of November, including for Kies! Social Supermarket, an initiative of the Food Bank Haaglanden and Stek. In the store of Kies! Customers of the Food Bank choose their groceries themselves.
