About Stichting Boerendorp (project van Groene Matties)

Join a green initiative with heart; Boerendorp (part of Groene Matties), a vegetable garden for the food bank. Hidden in the Zuiderpark lies Boerendorp, a beautiful vegetable garden with a social and educational character. In this garden we grow organic vegetables together with local residents, such as pumpkins, tomatoes, snow peas and many more delicious things. From the end of April to the beginning of November, there is a weekly harvest, including for Kies! Social Supermarket, an initiative of Voedselbank Haaglanden and Stek. In the Kies! store, customers of the Food Bank choose their own groceries.
