Stichting GoedEten facilitates the space (kitchen and restaurant area on the ground floor in front of the kitchen) in the Helena (former Johan de Witt college) and makes it available to initiatives and individuals who want to cook from a sustainable and/or social vision and through want to connect people through food. The focus is on the residents of the neighborhood around the Helena. Stichting GoedEten also provides catering for a wide range of customers and occasions. These catering assignments are assigned to a group of cooks and helping hands. The person who takes on the assignment as chef gives substance to the assignment, such as the menu and the coordination of helping hands. Local organic ingredients are used for the catering assignments. The catering assignments are offered at competitive prices. The profit that comes from these assignments makes it possible to facilitate the space and resources at the Helena for social and sustainable initiatives. And with this we keep ourselves alive. In addition to offering a professional kitchen for a (very) low rental price, GoedEten can also support the purchase of local organic products. These are ordered from regular farmers, growers and other suppliers.
