About Stichting Mali-Waalsdorp

The Mali-Waalsdorp Foundation was founded in 1999. The name “Waalsdorp” indicates the home base: Montessori School Waalsdorp in The Hague. This primary school has entered into a school link at the request of the Ecole Fondamentale in Endé. The village of Endé is located in Het Pays-Dogon in Mali. The support is expressed in concrete terms by the structural partial financing of one of the six group teachers in Endé.
The Mali-Waalsdorp Foundation has meanwhile also made several other schools enthusiastic about its projects. This enables the foundation to regularly expand its support with one-off projects. Some of these include financing the canteen, building a library on the school grounds and replacing school furniture for three of the six classrooms. (see further projects)
