Summary

As a board member you are jointly responsible for the strategic direction of our organization and the realization of our objectives.

Detailed description

A board member is someone who, together with other board members, forms the daily board of our Queer Mind Foundation. You contribute to the day-to-day affairs of the board and are also responsible for a personal portfolio and oversee the various groups within our foundation.

In doing so, you take into account the development and needs of the queer community, especially those in the Haaglanden region. You supervise various groups and organize to ensure the queer community continues to have a safe home.

You are also a real team player and know how to handle things.

About Stichting Queer Mind

Everyone in The Hague has the right to a safe living environment, regardless of origin, sexuality or gender identity.

Homelessness and violence (physical or verbal) are still high among LGBTIQ+ people. We want to discuss and combat this! By peacefully campaigning, entering into dialogues and offering support to LGBTIQ+ people who (threaten to) end up on the street and realizing the shelter "Le Refuge Nederland".
