About Stichting Schets

How did it originate? The Sketch Foundation is a recently established foundation by the residents of Spoorwijk of the Municipality of The Hague. Local residents met in May 2018 and exchanged ideas with each other. A suitable location was then found and after various consultations with other local residents, neighborhood organizations and the Laak district, it was decided to give substance to the plans.

The aim of the foundation is to organize various activities within the municipality of The Hague and in the surrounding area for certain groups, such as youth, the elderly, newcomers and women. The Sketch Foundation wants to work with its partners to eventually create a multifunctional community center that is used by various organizations.
