About Stichting Vers & Vrij

The 'Vers & Vrij' is a display refrigerator that will be installed at a neighborhood center in various (until now) neighborhoods in The Hague.

Once a day, leftover prepared (fresh) products / leftovers are collected from affiliated catering establishments, sealed in special Fresh & Free storage containers and placed in the display refrigerators.
Anyone who deems it necessary is free to take from the refrigerator what he needs.

In this way we prevent food waste and we help people who are (temporarily) in heavy weather with a free fresh meal.
So two birds with one stone!
