About Stichting Vobis

The Vobis Foundation is a modern thinking self-organization that is strongly committed to the community, regardless of nationality, origin, culture or sexual orientation. She contributes to creating a society with a beautiful living environment, in which everyone feels at home and where everyone wants to build. Although that sounds very rosy, it is achievable with the right efforts. The Vobis Foundation has proven this, if only through its own successful collaboration. An important aspect for her is 'showing' that she embraces a diversity of cultures, knowledge and cooperation. In the Netherlands, and therefore also in The Hague, everyone, both native and immigrant, has lately been talking about values and norms. Citizens feel increasingly unsafe. This feeling is very strong within the immigrant community, partly due to a number of aspects, such as: There is almost no understanding and respect for each other anymore. Parents see their children “slipping” and becoming bolder day by day. People are increasingly confronted with domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies, teenage mothers and suicidal behavior. Immigrant women and young people are increasingly isolated. And we can go on like this!
