About Stichting Vrienden van De Nijkamphoeve

The Friends of De Nijkamphoeve Foundation wants to operate a low-threshold, accessible Neighborhood Farm that connects people and allows them to come together. We want to bring the farm animal closer to the people, especially the children. We want to create awareness for nature, the environment and sustainability in our own living environment, for example by providing nature and environmental education to children and adults. The BuurtBoerderij also wants to offer space to volunteers who are lagging behind in the labor market or who are looking for meaningful daytime activities or who are looking for an internship for their (pre-)vocational education.
