About Stichting de Groenteboerin

The Groenteboerin Foundation is a vegetable garden on the edge of the Delftse Hout. This garden at Hoeve Biesland is maintained by care farmers. Together they ensure that the beds remain weed-free and help with planting and harvesting. In the spring and summer it grows out on the garden. The harvests are sold to Lekker Nassuh in The Hague and Kistje vol Smaak in Delft. With the proceeds of the sale we can pay for the supervision of our volunteers. As a result, the work in the garden remains continuously present and we can also continue to receive new volunteers and put them to work.
