About WijkLeerbedrijf Den Haag

The WijkLeerbedrijf Den Haag Centrum was founded to provide informal help to people in the neighborhood and to train people for a job as assistant in care services. The idea is simple. Residents of The Hague who receive benefits from the Municipality of The Hague and who would like to work in healthcare can register with the WijkLeerbedrijf. Then there is an intake procedure. If it is positive they can start. During the training they then gain practical experience that is in line with their MBO training as a care assistant. They are happy to assist local residents with all possible activities at home or in the neighbourhood. The WijkLeerbedrijf Den Haag provides more than 10,000 hours of informal help per year. And that makes everyone better!
