About Wijkvereniging Benoordenhout

The Benoordenhout neighborhood association has two objectives: promoting the interests of the entire neighborhood and strengthening the connection in the neighborhood. The district association is the first point of contact for the municipality and district council for matters that concern the district and it is increasingly involved in policy-making and implementation. The neighborhood association has 1900 members and is active in many areas: spatial planning, the target groups youth, the elderly and expats, sustainability, etc. The neighborhood association consists of volunteers and is organized in one board and several committees.
