Summary

Are you developing an environmental sustainability initiative and looking for project management support? Then check out our free personalised coaching service!

Detailed description

What is this about?

At Advocates Who Thrive, we are currently developing our new coaching programme Lead to Succeed. Through this programme we'll support young advocates like you who are developing an initiative that contributes to environmental sustainability in their communities or local areas.

Our support covers elements of project development & project management, helping you answer questions such as Who is my initiative for, What needs does it address, What change am I trying to accomplish, How do I plan my initiative step by step, and How can I involve relevant stakeholders.

Our offer

At the moment we're testing this coaching service with real changemakers who are working on real sustainability challenges.

This means that we provide you with free personalised coaching sessions to support you in your project development & project management skills and approaches for the initiative you're working on.

Concretely, this means:

  • 3 one-to-one sessions of 1 hour each;
  • All of them taking place online;
  • In the time range between 6 January and 9 February 2025.

Who are you?

  • Someone who's committed to environmental sustainability;
  • Living in the Netherlands;
  • Currently (thinking of) developing an initiative through which you advocate for environmental sustainability in your local area, community or network. With 'advocating' we mean efforts that are contributing to changes in attitudes, behaviour or practices of people or organisations.
  • Your initiative can be about any environmental sustainability challenge. But note that if you're looking for deep expertise on specific sustainability issues, chances are that we cannot facilitate in that.

Are you interested?

Excellent! Then please fill out the short application form, such that we can see if there's a match. Note that the application deadline is 4 January at 23:59 CEST. And feel free to reach out to Rob in case you have any questions.

About Advocates Who Thrive

At Advocates Who Thrive we empower current or aspiring advocates to become more influential in their fight for social and environmental justice.

We do so by offering them training and coaching opportunities that build their confidence, capacity and competences to speak up, lobby & campaign for the environment, animal rights, human rights and inclusion.

In order to successfully address these urgent societal challenges, we need all kinds of angles and viewpoints to be on board. That’s where our main activities – the intensive, multi-day training courses that we organize – come in. Where international youth from all kinds of backgrounds come together. The training setup in combination with their passion and collective drive allows them to fully focus on the topic and on each other. As a result, participants develop themselves and each other in ways they never imagined before.

Fully in line with these values, in our organization we welcome and involve youth from all walks of life. No matter their background, religion, education, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join!
