Happy to announce our new partnership with The Hague International Centre

As Volunteer the Hague grows with each passing month, we are all the more thankful to share the responsibility of uniting internationals within the Hague through volunteering with even more trustworthy and strengthening partnerships. Our newest partner, The Hague International Centre (THIC), serves as the outlet of communication for international staffs of companies and organizations not only in the Hague, but also Delft, Leidschendam-Voorburg and Rijswijk. By working in close connection with municipalities, all expats can anticipate a safe landing in their transition to a new life in the Hague Region.

The Hague International Centre is the guiding passage for international talent by taking care of formalities and other services through four steps: aiding in the orientation before moving to the Hague region, making sure the “settling in” process runs as smoothly as possible, helping with multiple living and working services, and ensuring those who leave depart as ambassadors for the Hague region. Many internationals are familiar with the work and help of THIC, due to their extensive experience in English-language services, municipal relationship, and help with day-to-day Dutch living services such as DigID, waste and recycling, housing, parking permits, converting drivers licenses, and more.

Located in the city center, The Hague International Centre is located in the Atrium of the Hague City Hall. Four times a year, THIC invites you and your family to their “Welcome to the Hague” programme to help give a better understanding of your city, and to explain how The Hague International Centre can make your stay more comfortable. These programs aim to expand your network, help you meet other expatriates and provide various useful resources on living in the Hague and the Netherlands. This event is free of charge, so register soon!

To learn more about the programmes The Hague International Centre has to offer, feel free to subscribe to their Newsletter HERE. THIC will make sure to highlight all events of interest for the international community. Last but not least, for more information about THIC, be sure to email them at [email protected].
