Do you love cooking? And does making others happy with a delicious and healthy three-course meal give you energy? Then come cook at Buurt-en-Kerkhuis Bethel.
We are looking for an enthusiastic cook who is willing to prepare a hot meal for local residents one to two times a month on Tuesdays.
At Bethel, we believe that people who have been fortunate in life as well as those who are struggling can mean a great deal to one another. We encourage meeting, connection, and mutual support — and a shared meal is often the perfect start for that.
What are you going to do?
- You devise and prepare (together with volunteers) a tasty and nutritious three-course meal.
- You go shopping.
What do we offer?
- Support from enthusiastic volunteers who help with cooking, serving, and washing up.
- An inspiring place to put your cooking talent to use.
- An expense allowance
Who are you?
- You enjoy cooking for groups (± 30 people).
- You have an affinity for people from diverse backgrounds.
- You work independently, but also enjoy collaborating.
- You are available 1 to 2 times a month, on Tuesdays.
