Who we are:
We are the brand-new Expaterience team of (currently 18) volunteers, part of RTV Discus, community access TV/video producer in The Hague region. we showcase real-life stories and experiences in our video content and during in-studio conversations — fostering a deeper connection between locals and internationals: an empowering space to connect, online and on TV.
No Dutch? No problem!

Expaterience, launched in Spring of 2025, is the new talk show focusing on everyday experiences of expats/internationals living in Greater The Hague and the Netherlands at large, on their successes as well as the challenges they may encounter in their personal and professional lives abroad.
Being expats/internationals ourselves, we showcase real-life stories and experiences in our video content — fostering a deeper connection between locals and internationals: an empowering space to connect, online, and on TV.
New Expaterience episodes are produced each month and streamed, live and on-demand, via our social media platforms, and broadcast on cable TV in The Hague region.
Expaterience is the first English-language TV program and online & social media presence produced by RTV Discus, the community access public service TV producer in The Hague region, for almost 30 years — signifying its third TV production, alongside the long-standing Dutch-language programs: social issues talk show, Zaterdag Live, and current affairs news magazine, Escampjournaal.
