We are looking for help with transporting the tent and setting it up. Preferably someone who has a van or a large car. The expenses will be reimbursed.Detailed description
The Hague Museum Tent travels to various institutions such as schools and institutions where seniors come together. We are looking for someone who can support us with transport and setting up the tent at these locations.
In addition, it would be very nice if the volunteer had his own van or large car in which the items could be transported.
The contact between our organization and the institutions where the tent will be located is of course important. And it is nice if the volunteer is willing to play a role in this too.
You will then have contact with our organization as well as with the schools and senior institutions and possibly with the museums that participate.
As soon as there are general meetings, it is possible to attend them. You are really part of a team. We are all in this together and we all have a great passion to make this a resounding success.
We think it is important that students and seniors who normally do not come to the museum can still get acquainted with it and thus feel more involved in society.

What is The Hague Museum Tent?
The Hague Museum Tent travels to the target group with: a special tent, a film, a suitcase with objects from the museums and materials for a creative assignment. Together, all components form an accessible introduction to the museum/heritage institution. This first school year that we start this program, there are 7 participating museums that participate in the program: The Hague Historical Museum, Rijksmuseum de Gevangenpoort, West The Hague, Museum Bredius, Children's Book Museum, House of the Book and the Archeology Department of the Municipality of The Hague.
With De Haagse Museumtent we visit primary schools from various (attention) neighborhoods and (for example SBO) schools where there are students who are less able to get to a museum themselves. We also take the tent to various senior institutions. The programs are made in co-creation with schools, community centers and healthcare institutions, etc.
