The lighting technician is trained by us and operates a relatively simple lighting console. He/she assists during the performances.
He/she is interested in theater and technology (some knowledge is welcome)
He/she operates the lighting console
He/she assists with setup and teardown and music/microphone connection
He/she can solve simple technical problems
He/she communicates in a positive manner
The tasks can be assigned flexibly, but the ability to handle appointments is required.
He/she is interested in learning how to create a lighting plan
Agreements are made regarding a volunteer allowance and/or reimbursement of expenses.

About Het Zeeheldentheater
In 1990 the building was bought by dancer Yvette Olof and musician Jan Erik Noske with the aim of creating rehearsal spaces for their music and dance group Pandora. Various halls and studios were built in the context of 'Building Youth for Young People', among others with the help of the Municipality of The Hague. Gradually, the main hall was converted into a theater (with a stand from Fonds 1818) which was opened in 2002 by the then Mayor Deetman as Zeeheldentheater.
The Zeeheldentheater is a sustainable theater, not only because of technical facilities such as LED lighting, double glazing, eco green roof, heat recovery installations, sensors, automatic cranes, but also by stimulating a workplace with a very diverse composition of employees and volunteers from all layers of the population. In addition, larger series of performances take place and there is a listening ear for new initiatives from, among others, the district, the city and the whole of Haaglanden (sustainable programming for a broad layer of the population).
