The International Film Festival The Hague (IFFH) is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing team to join our Core Pre-Festival Team for our upcoming 8th Edition!
As we scale up for our biggest edition yet, we are looking for a small, high-energy team members to help us shape the visual narrative of the festival. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively behind the scenes of an expanding international cultural institution and build a professional portfolio in arts marketing.
What will you do?
Working directly with the Communications & PR Manager, this team will help execute our 2026 digital strategy. Your tasks will be distributed among the team based on individual strengths:
- Content Creation: Designing engaging posts and stories for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook using the IFFH Style Guide.
- Video & Photo Production: Creating Reels content (interviews, "Road to IFFH 8" teasers, and event highlights).
- Community Management: Engaging with our followers, filmmakers, and partners to build a vibrant online community.
- Campaign Execution: Assisting with the "Afterglow" series from 2025 and the rollout of the 8th Edition campaign.
- Website Creative Support: Helping to build and creatively improve our website to ensure our digital home is as cinematic and user-friendly as our festival.
What are we looking for?
- A passion for film, arts, and the international culture of The Hague.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc).
- Creative skills in graphic design (Canva/Adobe/etc) or mobile video editing (CapCut or etc).
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus but not required).
- A "Nice Guy" spirit: approachable, collaborative, and reliable.

Time Commitment
Approximately 4–6 hours per week. This is a flexible, year-round core role with a peak in activity leading up to the festival in November.
