Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and advice to entrepreneurs and small business owners in both Dutch and English languages.
- Assist in developing business plans, strategies, and solutions to address various challenges faced by businesses.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Offer expertise in areas such as marketing, finance, operations, and management.
- Provide support in developing and implementing effective marketing and branding strategies.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Offer advice on optimizing operational efficiency and productivity.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to entrepreneurs to help them navigate the complexities of running a successful business.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide relevant and timely advice.
- Collaborate with other team members and external partners to deliver comprehensive support to businesses.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Dutch and English languages (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong background in business management, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing business advisory services or consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex business situations and offer practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Previous experience volunteering or working with small businesses or startups is preferred, but not required.
- Commitment to making a positive impact in the community and supporting the success of local businesses.
- Flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
