As a Research Specialist, you will gather and analyze data, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making to enhance our services.

Detailed description

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform program strategies.
  2. Needs Assessment: Collect data and feedback from entrepreneurs to assess their needs and challenges, helping to tailor support services accordingly.
  3. Best Practices: Research and compile best practices in entrepreneurship support, including training methods, mentorship programs, and funding opportunities.
  4. Impact Evaluation: Assist in designing and implementing surveys and evaluations to measure the impact of our programs on entrepreneurs' success.
  5. Policy Analysis: Stay informed about relevant policies and regulations affecting entrepreneurship, conducting research to understand their implications for our target audience.
  6. Data Management: Organize and maintain research data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Strong research skills, including proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for supporting minority entrepreneurs and contributing to positive social change.
