Volunteer Wanted: Help Out at Fun Events!
Do you enjoy welcoming people and giving a helping hand? Would you like to do something good for others? Then join Vraagelkaar as a volunteer!
We organise fun activities, such as the “Gelukscarrousel” and creative workshops. These events help bring people together. That way, there is more joy in the neighbourhood and less loneliness.
What will you do?
As a volunteer, you help before, during, and after the event. You work together with a friendly team.
Your tasks might include:
- Helping to prepare the space.
- Making the room look nice (with decorations and snacks).
- Welcoming guests at the door.
- Helping during the activity (like a painting workshop).
- Cleaning up after the event.
- Sometimes staying in touch with guests afterward.
What do we ask from you?
- You are kind and enjoy helping people.
- You like working with others.
- You can see what needs to be done.
- Experience is a bonus, but not needed. We’re happy to teach you!
What do you get in return?
- You will get help and training for your tasks.
- You will learn new skills, like organising events.
- You will meet other volunteers and participants.
- You will do something meaningful for others.
Time commitment
We organise several events during the year. We will discuss with you how often you want to help. Some events are in the evening or on weekends.
