Become a Volunteer with Haagse Helpers (MDT YourCube)
Would you like to make a difference in your community while developing your own skills and talents? At Haagse Helpers, you will support people who could use a helping hand or some extra attention. Whether you enjoy working with older adults, children, local communities, or other social initiatives, we will help you find a volunteer role that matches your interests, talents, and availability.
Volunteering is about more than helping others. It is an opportunity to meet new people, discover your strengths, develop valuable skills for your studies or career, and gain meaningful hands-on experience.
What can you expect?

Who can join?
You can participate if you:
- are between 14 and 30 years old;
- have a Dutch Citizen Service Number (BSN);
- are motivated to contribute to your community while developing yourself;
- are enthusiastic about volunteering for at least six months;
- live in The Hague or the surrounding area.

About Netwerk Haagse Helpers
Haagse Helpers is a youth network that offers help to people who have little or no network. We inspire and motivate young people (14-30 years old) to volunteer for lonely fellow citizens. Volunteering at Haagse Helpers is flexible, so you can commit yourself at a time that suits you!
With us you can develop your talents, make new friends and roll up your sleeves. You go out in The Hague to carry out practical and social help activities for vulnerable people requesting help. Examples include gardening, shopping, buddy contact, cooking for vulnerable people and baking pancakes for the elderly in nursing homes. We guide you in the implementation of the volunteer work and like to hear your experiences during a coffee moment at our office. We also organize training courses and workshops on social themes. You focus on self-development, you meet other volunteers and we have a drink together afterwards.
