Do you like working among cats?

Tasks as a volunteer

As a volunteer at the cat boarding house/shelter, you will start with cleaning, washing litter boxes, washing food bowls, etc. together with the animal caretakers and any other volunteers. You will be trained and supervised by the animal caretakers.

What do we expect from you?

Passion for working with cats. Don't mind getting your hands dirty. Enjoys cleaning and other tasks. At least 3 months, at least 1 morning per week, preferably on a fixed day, to come and work. And you are at least 16 years old.

What do you get out of it?

We offer a fun working environment with enthusiastic employees. Everything revolves around the animals and you get a lot of appreciation in return.

Working days and times

At least 1 morning per week, on average 4 hours per morning, from 08:30-12:00. Preferably fixed parts of the day are worked during the week. It is also possible to work in the weekend.

Who are we?

The National Animal Care Foundation consists of a dog daycare, a dog and cat boarding house & shelter, the oldest senior club for cats & dogs in the Netherlands and the animal ambulance for the municipalities of Wassenaar, Leidschendam-Voorburg.
