Are you passionate about climate justice? Join us as a volunteer for Hague Talks, featuring high-level guests and climate advocates at the Peace Palace.
As the world turns its attention to the outcomes of the International Court of Justice’s Advisory Opinion on climate change and human rights, this special edition of Hague Talks asks: What makes climate action just?
Speakers from across law, policy, science, and community leadership will share what just climate action means from their own experience and journey. An evening of ideas, dialogue, and reflection on how The Hague and its global community can help shape a more just climate future. Hague Talks is a platform that brings together inspiring speakers from different walks of life to share personal perspectives on peace, justice, and the work of creating positive change. Are you committed to climate justice? Are you curious to network with frontline climate practitioners and gain hands-on experience within The Hague’s peace and justice ecosystem? This opportunity might be ideal for you!
What does this position entail?
As a volunteer, you will support The Hague Humanity Hub team in one or more of the following tasks:
- Welcoming the guests and speakers
- Assisting the event set-up & break-down
- Running the registration desk
- Logistical support, including directing crowd flows
- Overall guest experience
⌚Time Commitment: December 15, 17:00-21:30 (exact times subject to change)
