The Just Peace Open Day aims to bring peace and justice to life for citizens of The Hague. Various (international) peace and justice organisations, big and small will open their doors to thousands of guests during the JP Open Day: think about The Permanent Court of Arbitration, International Court of Justice, High Commissioner on National Minorities of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE HCNM) & many more.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers for September 22nd to assist the participating organizations with their activities. This is a unique opportunity to get to know some of the largest international peace & justice organizations in The Hague.

What does the position entail?
As a volunteer, you will work with the Just Peace team to support the participating organizations in one or more of the following tasks:
- registrations
- directions
- logistics
- overall guest experience
🕒time commitment: 9:00 - 17:00 on September 22nd + 1h the week before for a (hybrid) team meeting
Who are you?
🌟 enthusiastic and proactive
👊 someone who does not shy away from taking the lead and responsibility
🗣️ strong communication skills
🧩 experience in event coordination
🇬🇧🇳🇱 good knowledge of English. Dutch is not required but it is an advantage
🏛️ knowledge of the organisations working on peace & justice in The Hague is a plus
💖a genuine interest in the mission & themes of the Just Peace Open Day

The Humanity Hub is a not-for-profit foundation that supports and strengthens the Hague ecosystem for a more peaceful and just world.
