We are starting a new chapter in The Hang-Out 070 and are looking for new core team members/aspiring board members from January 2024 who want to build on it and we are particularly looking for Queer BIPOC of any age from 18 years old.
Event management:
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to strengthen our team as an event manager. In this role you will play an essential role in facilitating and stimulating various initiatives and events within our organization, with a special focus on the Queer Culture program and promoting connectivity.
What are you going to do?
- Facilitating communities and initiatives to organize events in The Hang-Out 070.
- Stimulating various initiatives for events, with an emphasis on the Queer Culture program.
- Initiating a large-scale event every quarter, where all involved communities and initiatives come together and actively contribute to the organization, with special attention to the Connectivity program.
- Manage the reporting of all events to ensure their impact and success.
- Streamline the general agenda via TimeTree to maintain a clear schedule.
What are we looking for?
A team player who wants to make an active investment in a connection between Queer BIPOC communities; actively encouraging new initiatives and events organized by Queer BIPOC; people who are eager to learn and grow together; ambitious and motivated to build a sustainable future for THO-070 and queer BIPOC communities in The Hague in general; comfortable to communicate in English and Dutch and available for 2 years.

By learning and growing together through a professionalization process with leadership training, public speaking, media training, organization building, conflict resolution, fundraising, vision building and all this in an inspiring environment to facilitate development for empowerment, queer culture, and connectivity!
