Description
Volunteer The Hague is looking for a savvy social media and communications expert. We are looking for someone with some history and experience working with Social Media and who is a natural at engaging audiences online. Our social platforms are currently limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. A suitable candidate will have flexibility in their schedule and have the option of working from home; however, it is important to note that some of the benefits of volunteering for the Volunteer The Hague project are the centrally located office and friendly English speaking team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Content creation
- Content and social media planning
- Prescheduling content on social media
- Responding to and engaging audience questions and concerns
- Researching and championing new ideas and strategies that could benefit the international audience of The Hague
Skills and Experience
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal (native English level is big plus)
- Previous experience in a communications role and/or managing various social media accounts
- Post-Secondary education in marketing, communications or Journalism is a plus
Requirements
- 10 hours per week (extra hours are possible if desired)
- 3 month commitment contract (can be extended upon request)
