Every year on August 15, the end of World War II in the former Dutch East Indies is commemorated in the Grote Kerk. We are looking for staff to help organize this.
That afternoon, there is a varied program in the church featuring (carillon) music, a communal lunch, dialogues, and workshops on the theme: Family memories of the Second World War in the former Dutch East Indies. A dedicated team of volunteers welcomes visitors, provides catering, assists with lunch, helps with various tasks, and cleans up afterwards.
