Call | Who's in?
For PLEIN, the site-specific performance taking place on Spuiplein on September 12, 13, and 14, Amare, Wunderbaum, and the HNT are looking for the final participants to complete the current group. The performance is being created with everyone who wants to participate: local residents, regulars at (Open) Amare, or people with a strong connection to Spuiplein or The Hague.
The project revolves around the square itself: the memories of the past, the current significance of this place, and the people who now (will) use it. We envision Spuiplein as a kind of micro-society, a place where different groups from The Hague intersect and where the city visibly comes together.
The first rehearsals have just started, but there are a few dropouts, and we think the group could use some more energy and enthusiasm. Rehearsals are mainly on weekends/evenings, and participants receive a volunteer allowance.

We're particularly looking for participants between 25 and 55 years old, which is proving to be a challenging group because they're simply busier. Men could also be better represented, and we're still looking for more people from the Moroccan and Turkish communities.
We've really got a nice group together now; the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, so if people join through you, I'm sure they'll settle in well and be able to connect.
