Art-S-Cool, the art school from The Hague's Schilderswijk, is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with art classes for young people (13 - 18 years old).
What are you going to do?
- You help the art teacher with all activities during the lesson.
- You coach the young people with completing the assignments.
- You set everything up to support the art teacher, and in doing so, you also learn a thing or two about the materials, tools, and supplies.
- You help clean up after the lesson.
Where will you be working?
The art lessons take place after school in our teaching studios in the Talentenhuis at Ferdinand Bolstraat 33 (entrance via the schoolyard on Frans Halsstraat). Based on your availability and profile, we will look together at what suits you best.
By when?
On Tuesdays from 15:00 to 18:00 and on Fridays from 16:00 to 19:00.

- available for at least 2 hours per week
- at least 18 years old
- You speak English and Dutch, or you are in the process of learning Dutch.
Who are we?
Art-S-Cool, the art school of the Schilderswijk, aims to introduce children, their parents, and residents to art. We do this by providing art lessons for students and their parents, but also by organizing high-profile art projects in the neighborhood, where children, local residents, and artists create beautiful works together. Through our activities, we connect residents with one another and give young talent a helping hand.
