Major shortage of volunteers to offer cycling lessons
The number of people on the waiting list for cycling lessons in The Hague is large.
The Netherlands is a real cycling country, but not every resident has learned to cycle. In various neighborhoods in The Hague, the demand for cycling lessons is many times greater than what the Neighborhood Sports Coaches can currently handle. That is why Den Haag Fietst is looking for enthusiastic volunteers.
After an introductory meeting, you and other people will be trained as a cycling coach. This training is provided by the Hague organization Het Fietscollege at Wagenstraat 185a. The two training days take place on Saturday mornings, March 30 and April 13.
You will then work with your own group under the guidance of a neighborhood sports coach in The Hague.
