Join IFFH Creative Squad as a Video Editor! Build an elite portfolio with global film footage, enjoy VIP access, and shape our cinematic brand. Apply now!

The International Film Festival The Hague (IFFH) is preparing for its 8th Edition, and we are opening an exclusive spot for a talented Video Editor to join our core creative squad.

If you are a storyteller with a sharp eye for rhythm and a passion for cinematic excellence, we invite you to bring your vision to our global stage. This isn't just a volunteer role; it’s a partnership in visual storytelling.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for a high-profile platform to showcase your editing skills? We are offering a unique opportunity to collaborate with an international team, giving you access to premium festival footage and the chance to see your work shared with a global audience of filmmakers and cinema lovers.

What’s In It For You?

  • Elite Portfolio Pieces: Gain full rights to use all festival-related content in your personal showreel, backed by the prestige of an international film festival credit.
  • Professional Networking: Direct access to our network of international filmmakers, industry professionals, and cultural leaders.
  • Creative Freedom: Work within a high-energy squad of 5 creators where your artistic input is valued and encouraged.
  • VIP Festival Access: Enjoy the "inner circle" experience during the festival days this November, with full access to screenings and exclusive events.
  • Long-Term Growth: For the right talent, this is a path to a long-term role within the festival’s growing leadership team.

The Role & Impact

Your Contribution: As our Video Editor, you will be the final architect of the IFFH visual brand. You will curate raw footage into compelling narratives that capture the spirit of international cinema.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Cinematic Teasers: Crafting high-energy "Road to IFFH 8" trailers and social media teasers.
  • Archival Highlights: Editing archival footage to celebrate the legacy of our past editions and masterclasses.
  • Festival Recaps: Leading the post-production of event highlights and filmmaker interviews.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring all video content reflects a sophisticated and international aesthetic.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Professional proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or any of your preferred software.
  • A sophisticated sense of pacing, sound design, and colour.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work within a specialised creative team.
  • Availability for approx. 4–6 hours per month (flexible schedule).
