Detailed description

Do you share our mission and do you want to help us make a difference? Get in touch with us now, so we can find out together how you can help! Tell us a bit more about yourself and why you’re motivated to support our mission, and we’ll get back to you soon, so we can start doing good together!

Leiden Pride is a non-profit foundation hosting inclusive events of all kinds for the LGBTQI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, etc.) community in and around Leiden, The Netherlands. We pride ourselves on being able to provide an inclusive and safe environment for all individuals involved in the LGBTQI+ community regardless of their background, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, and socio-economic status.

Together, we share our pride in our individual diversity and explore the issues that our community faces of future, past, and current times. The foundation facilitates this by organising lectures, hangout sessions, movie nights, and many other events.

About Leiden Pride

Objective
- Bringing together the LGBTQI+ community;
- Positively contributing to the enrichment and diversity of the LGBTQI+ community;
- Promoting the safety and integration of members of the LGBTQI+ community in The Netherlands and elsewhere in the world.

Core activity
To achieve these goals we organise — among other things — social and educative events, both in-person and online. From lectures to parties, from movie nights to workshops. When we say “community” we are, of course, talking about the community in Leiden, but certainly also outside of it. Among our regular attendees we have people from many other places within and without the Netherlands.
