For the Surf&Durf Club in Scheveningen we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who will go into the sea with us!
Detailed description
At Surf&Durf, we believe in the power of the waves and the positive influence of movement. Through surf therapy, Surf&Durf offers children and young people aged 8 to 18 the opportunity to develop their strengths and reduce mental health issues. At the Surf&Durf club, children can continue surfing with peers in a relaxed setting with individual guidance.
During the sessions, we focus on experiencing fun and relaxation, gaining more self-confidence, and developing connections and friendships. 🤩
The beach days are on Sunday mornings from September 7th to October 26th. 🏖️ We believe it's important that you are available for at least two Sundays.
Do you love the beach, the sea, and would you like to help give vulnerable children a positive (surfing) experience?
Experience with the target group and/or surfing is desirable, but not required. We offer our volunteers ample support and opportunities for growth.
